We had just put the wheels in motion to attack this segment of potential new business, with the expectation of a few months to see real movement in search.
We are on day 45 of active optmization for keywords like "advertising agency nashville" and "interactive agency nashville". It seems our original assesment of the weakness in this category is being proven right. As of today (8/15/11), TFF is ranked #3 for "interactive agencies nashville" (click here to view result) #5 for "interactive agency nashville" (click here to view result) and between #10 page one and #4 page two for a wide range of "advertising agency" keywords.
In truth, we expected much stiffer competition from "interactive" over "traditional". One would think if your entire pitch is knowledge of online and new media marketing, you would have a much better grip on your own position and search credibility. Our SEO experts are good, but it really shouldn't be this easy.
